As a not-for-profit association, it was important to us that we organise a conference which fitted with our family therapy members while working within a limited budget. DKC International helped us to achieve both these goals, resulting in a successful conference of which we were proud. Throughout the whole process, DKC listened to what we wanted; it was a truly collaborative venture making the work of organising a conference really enjoyable.
Nothing was too difficult for them. They managed all aspects of organising a conference from the early work of securing a venue, through to keeping the conference on track, to finishing up with the financials.
The DKC staff were friendly, approachable, professional and calm under pressure- the word ‘unflappable’ comes to mind. It was a joy to work with them.
We knew we were in good hands leaving us free to enjoy hosting the conference.
I have no hesitation recommending DKC International to other organisations, indeed I already have!”

When we asked DKC International to assist with arranging the second Switch to Green Conference and Expo in Canberra in 2009, we did not expect the level of commitment Corinne and her staff would give to making the event a success. As a volunteer organisation we were taking a risk in staging such a large event but this did not concern DKC, they were prepared to share that risk too and help us make it work. What made working with DKC so encouraging was their willingness to meet with our voluntary committee after hours. DKC International gave us 110 percent and we were very happy with their enthusiasm, thoroughness, and their stamina!

We would like to thank DKC for their continued generous support of our annual White Tie Gala Dinner. The event is now in its 5th year and we would not be able to run such a successful event without Corinne and her staff. Being a small not-for-profit organisation, White Ribbon relies heavily on DKC to manage all aspects of the event - from sourcing the venue, to identifying and negotiating with suppliers, right down to the detailed running of the night, and we are delighted that they never fail to exceed our expectations.

Working with Families….so many needs to respond to in so many diverse ways.
The NSW Family Therapy Association needed an organisation which could understand a very creative bunch of therapists from all over Australia. We facilitated a successful 2009 Australian Family Therapy Conference and chose to work with DKC International. Their responsiveness from the start and calm positive manner clinched the relationship. So DKC managed all aspects of the promotion, abstract collection, registration of participants, venue organisation and participant requirements. Even when there was an unexpected last minute venue change, Corinne and her team were unflappable. It was a pleasure to work with such a flexible and hard working team, while we had some fun on the way. Thanks DKC it was so enjoyable, when it’s our turn again we have your number handy!

The organisation of the Gottman Conference was fantastic, from the venue to the audio to the meals and morning and afternoon tea and the hotel was in a great location and the rooms were fantastic. Well done, in fact it was one of the best organised conferences I have been to and I have been to a few.

Thank you DKC International for the outstanding organisation of the Emerging Economists program in 2007 and 2008. The inaugural series involved a lot of set-up work and coordination. The venue on the executive floor of the Reserve Bank of Australia and the organisation of important guest speakers including past prime ministers, government and business leaders, has been extraordinary. The organisation and management has attended to detail in a timely manner so that all events have run very smoothly and within budget. We have found staff to be courteous and efficient and what really stands out is their ability to communicate effectively and professionally, overcoming any obstacles as they arise. Based on my experience of working with events management companies, I find DKC’s level of service exceptional. We have consequently entered into an exciting and innovative future joint project with DKC, the Australian Economic Forum.

I have taken the opportunity to write an unsolicited testimonial about my experience working with Corinne Kemp of DKC international.
I recently met Corinne in her role as the event manager for an intensive 2 week International course being run out of Canberra. I was teaching on the course and had the pleasure of working with a true professional. At all times Corinne knew what was happening and who needed to know what. Corinne was prompt in checking up that all was working as it should. She dealt with the hotel staff in a polite and truly genuine way. Corinne did all of her work in a friendly and relaxed manner. She was able to build up a good rapport with the students on the course who were international guests with many issues concerning visas and other complicated matters.
I highly recommend the services of DKC, and in particular Corinne, whom I would happily engage on further events. Her excellent, efficient but low profile way of working made our course go very smoothly. She brings a delightful ease to the complicated tasks of managing people and resources that is a pleasure to witness.
I wish dkc all the best in the future and hope that we are able to retain their services again soon.

Congratulations on a fabulous night. You and your team did a great job of ensuring the WRD Foundation Dinner was a huge success. Several of my colleagues commented on “how good the event was” and believe me they have been to their fair share of dinners.
The entertainment was fantastic, Andrew was brilliant as per usual and to have such a quality line up for the debate was sensational as well as extremely funny, and I guess to top it off, the words of Kevin Maher were hard hitting which I think resonated across so many people within the room.
The campaign has certainly come a long way in such a short period of time and it is partly thanks to you and your team for ensuring the dinner has and will continue to be such a huge success
