Our Team


DKC brings together professional experience and a dynamic fresh face to conference and event management.

Corinne Kemp, CEM

Corinne Kemp is the Managing Director of DKC International. She leads the Event Management Team and is the key point of contact for clients. She oversees the day-to day running of conferences and events, budget, coordination and production.

Corinne is a graduate of the University of Sydney. She has worked in variety of different roles and organisations, including policy and program management roles for the Commonwealth Department of Health and Ageing, the NSW Cabinet Office, and various not-for-profit organisations. She also has experience in the non-government sector, social work, health and social policy program planning, implementation and evaluation.   

Corinne has also contributed to the development and execution of a number of high profile government strategies including the National Diabetes Strategy, the National HIV and Communicable Diseases Strategy and the NSW Youth Policy.   In these roles, her key tasks involved managing public awareness campaigns, conferences, public consultations and stakeholder relations.

In 2005 Corinne drew on this experience to concentrate on facilitation and conference and event management. While working in various government agencies, she identified a genuine need for conference and event management based on a keen awareness and profound knowledge of the issues and processes of these agencies. She utilises her experience and personal interest in government policy to deliver services that effectively meet these issues and the specific needs and requirements of her clients.

Corinne is accredited as a Certified Event Manager by the Professional Conference Organisers Association.


Christine Mamone, CEM

Christine Mamone works closely with Corinne Kemp, supporting her in the coordination of conferences and events. This includes venue and supplier sourcing and management, speaker management, and travel and accommodation bookings.

Christine joined the team at DKC in 2007. She offers a wealth of experience in administration, event management and customer service in a variety of sectors, including corporate, sport, the arts, and not-for-profit organisations. She has worked at high-profile organisations such as Symphony Australia, Tennis NSW and Chartered Secretaries Australia.

Christine has developed a strong reputation for the provision of high quality client management and attention to detail. Her many strengths include her ability to communicate, develop relationships and liaise with people at all levels and her excellent communication and organisation skills.

Christine is accredited as a Certified Event Manager by the Professional Conference Organisers Association.
 
 
Sophie Laycock

Sophie has recently joined DKC in the role of Sponsorship and Communications Manager. Working alongside the DKC team, Sophie’s main responsibilities are negotiating and managing sponsorship and developing the communications for our events. Sophie is committed to building and maintaining successful working relationships with our clients and sponsors.
 
Sophie has recently graduated from Newcastle University with a Bachelor of Communications. While studying, Sophie gained valuable experience by working in the Communications and Marketing team at Port Stephens Council and in the Public Relations department at Pacific Magazines. She has also volunteered at events such as Sydney Fashion Week.


Hayley Khatri

Hayley Khatri joined DKC in 2011 in the role of Conference Administrative Assistant, working closely with the rest of the team in order to help deliver outstanding results.  She is responsible for all delegate management and registrations across our events, ensuring that electronic and manual processes run smoothly and that the highest standards of quality control are met in this area of service.

Having relocated from London for a second time, Hayley brings with her a varied background in events and travel co-ordination. Previous employers include Reed Travel Exhibitions and Coca Cola Amatil (Sydney), and The John Lewis Partnership Ltd and Taylor Wessing (London).
 
Hayley’s strengths lie in her ability to build strong relationships with clients, her attention to detail and first class communication skills.
